"Cherry blossoms fall" - my contribution to World Poetry Day 2022

I had the honour this past Thursday of directing an episode of 'Salford Weekly', a student lead programme that a good friend of mine produces. Thursday was also 'World Poetry Day', and my producer thought that including a section of poems written by Salford Weekly members would make a good addition.

Unsurprisingly. nobody wrote anything.

Even more surprising was that, in a moment of mania, I wrote some joke haikus that somehow made it into the final programme. The video below is the end product.
